Today is not one of those days that make me feel good about myself
Ugh
1 more exam on Friday than FREEDOMMMM——-until Endocrinology and more Histology next week
ffffff

Just incase you do not know what that is…click here

So as I mentioned a few posts back, I went to PAX EAST with my med school friends! As seen by the photo above, I was dressed as Chell.
Here are some highlights of today
Overall, really awesome time! :D
Kylee visits Bahamas
I really didn’t party much. Just relax, be on the beach, take pics of birdies, etc. My friend’s parents had a timeshare here so I joined along!
AND I PASSED EVERY ONE OF THEM

AND NOW ITS SPRING BREAK AND I’M GOING TO BAHAMAS IN A FEW DAYS AHHHHHHHH
AHHHHHHHHH
In my med school we are allowed to take interesting free electives (these will not count to our grades but be mentioned in our dean’s letter/transcript that we took these classes). And I took “Healer’s Art,” which is sort of like a seminar where we discuss humanistic ways to practice medicine.
Because today was the last session, they gave us hand-stitched heart plushes with these messages. Given the career path that I have chosen to embark, this was really nice to have.
Also I have been feeling kinda down lately so this is really adorable. Mine was one of the more lopsided ones
Both Razer and I do not like the somatosensory system
Or that might be just me
Still, my intense burning hatred for the brainstem tracts has not been surpassed

I heard this is by far the most brutal block for first years so wish me luck….. ;w;
I passed all my courses and so I am in good standing. But yeah.
Fun fact: I do bake in my spare time because it’s fun. And almost always use my roomate to help me out with some of the prep
Made castella from scratch and it is so good :>
Had a slice for breakfast heeeeeee

So I took my Head and Neck exam for anatomy class.
The written was okay I guess…
…BUT THE PRACTICAL WAS A NIGHTMARE.
Those tags were odd and the bodies were dry as fuck

So for my semester I have just Head and Neck section left for anatomy class.
This means students get to rent a skull with another person. Fortunately I can monopolize the skull because my partner suddenly took a leave of absence. Studying it however is not as fun as pretending to be a mad scientist with a skull that I can potentially bring home for Thanksgiving….
